My SoH Praetor is finally finished!

With such a long paint time I had plenty of opportunities to second guess the pose and the colour scheme – but it all came together in the end and I’m really happy with how this guy turned out.

The OSL on the sword was the first time I’ve had a crack at painting such an effect and it caused a perceivable tightening of the sphincter as I put the brush to the model. It didn’t help that it was one of the final elements I added to an otherwise finished miniature.

The poor old Iron Hand has seen better days, but I salute his sacrifice in making my Praetor look all the more badass!
